CRAFTING FUTURES is founded by Jo McCallum, an award-winning digital craft maker, researcher and strategist operating at the intersection of material intelligence, systems change, regeneration and responsible technology.

Jo works from a clear proposition: making is a form of intelligence. It reveals patterns, tests relationships and gives shape to knowledge that can otherwise remain abstract, fragmented or unseen.

For over two decades, she has worked across the arts, universities, government and social impact in the UK, Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Her work brings traditional craft into dialogue with digital systems, public value and complex change, and has been exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Academy of Arts, London.

CRAFTING FUTURES carries this work into the age of recovery, helping organisations move from complexity to clarity through advisory, workshops and digital craft projects that make change visible, tangible and actionable.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which we live, work and make. We pay respect to Elders past and present, and recognise that every place holds knowledge through its histories, ecologies, materials, climates, crafts and systems of care. Our work is grounded in learning how to listen to place, act with reciprocity and craft futures that honour continuity, repair and responsibility.
